AI & data disclosure.

In plain words
The training tools at closerhud.com, the Closer Dojo and the Closer HUD, are built on artificial intelligence. When you use them, what you say is turned into text, sent to AI services to generate a response or a grade, and stored so you and your coach can review it. This page explains what that means. It sits alongside the privacy policy, which covers this website.
You are talking to AI
- The prospects in the Closer Dojo are AI. They are not real people, and nothing they say is a real customer's words or situation.
- Grades, feedback, coaching cards and "AI Blake" answers are generated by AI. They can be wrong, incomplete, or inconsistent from one session to the next. Treat them as training feedback, not as professional, legal, or financial advice, and not as a promise about results (see the earnings disclaimer).
- AI Blake is not Blake. It answers from the course material and your own sessions. Blake does not see or approve each answer before you get it.
What the tools collect
- Your voice, as text. In a roleplay, your microphone audio is sent to a voice service that turns it into text in real time, and the AI prospect's reply is turned back into speech. The Closer Dojo itself stores the text transcript, not an audio file.
- Session records. Each roleplay keeps its transcript, the scenario you practised, your scores, and the written feedback.
- Questions you ask AI Blake are kept along with the answers, so the course can be improved where students get stuck.
- Live calls with the Closer HUD. When you run the HUD on a real sales call, a meeting assistant joins the call (it may appear as "Notetaker") and transcribes everyone who speaks. That transcript is sent to AI to produce live coaching and a review afterwards, and the transcript, the coaching shown, and the review are stored.
Recording other people: your responsibility
If you use the Closer HUD on a call with anyone else, you are responsible for telling them the call is being transcribed by an AI assistant and getting any consent the law requires before the assistant joins. Recording and transcription laws differ by country, state, and province, and some require every person on the call to agree. If you can't get that agreement, don't use the HUD on that call. Don't use it on calls involving health, financial-account, or other sensitive personal details unless you are sure that's allowed.
Who processes it
The tools run on a server I control, hosted with DigitalOcean. To work, they send data to these services, each under its own terms and privacy policy:
- Anthropic (Claude): generates the AI prospect's replies, the grades and feedback, the live HUD coaching, and AI Blake's answers. It receives transcripts and the related course material.
- ElevenLabs: turns speech into text and text into the AI prospect's voice. It receives your microphone audio during a roleplay.
- Recall.ai: runs the meeting assistant that joins Google Meet calls, for the HUD and for roleplays held in Meet. It receives the call's audio and produces the transcript. It may keep call media under its own retention policy.
- Google: hosts the Google Meet rooms the tools create. Google's own meeting transcription and notes are switched off for those rooms.
- Whop (payments and course access), Calendly (booking calls), Resend (account emails), and PostHog (website analytics, with typed input masked) handle the parts their names suggest.
I don't sell your data, and I don't use your sessions or calls to train AI models. Transcripts are used to run the tools, to coach you, and to improve the prompts and scoring the tools use.
Who can see it
You can see your own sessions and reviews. Blake and anyone he authorizes to coach can see every student's sessions, scores, call reviews, and AI Blake questions. That is how the coaching works. Other students cannot see your transcripts. Leaderboards show names and scores only, and you can opt out of them.
How long it's kept
Session records, call reviews, and AI Blake questions are kept for as long as you're a student and afterwards, so your progress stays available, until you ask me to delete them. Nightly backups are kept for 14 days. Services listed above keep data under their own policies.
Your choices
Email blake@blakeblackwell.com to get a copy of your records, correct them, or have them deleted. I'll do it within 30 days and confirm when it's done. Deleting your records removes them from the server, and from backups as those expire.
Changes
If the tools start using a new AI service or collecting something new, this page changes and the date at the top changes with it.
